When Oklahoma became a state, it was already beef country. It first began with cattle drives crossing the territory and continues today on more than 55,000 beef farms and ranches across this great state. Woven into the fabric of Oklahoma is a proud history of the state’s largest agriculture segment, the beef industry. For more than one hundred years, Oklahoma’s farming and ranching families have cared for our families, our communities, our land and our cattle.
